Q1. Why did you decide to get involved with starting the Siouxland Chapter of CFMA?

I must give credit to Mike Miller as the founding member. He was the one who was initially involved. I became involved to learn more about what items that financial managers were concerned with and to network with those in the construction industry.

Q2. How has being a part of a local chapter brought value to your company?

Networking with others has been the biggest value. Getting to know others in the industry and building those relationships.

Q3. What is the biggest change you have seen in CFMA (local or national) since you joined?

It has been great to see the chapter continue to grow and get stronger. From its small beginnings to the membership numbers it now has. The leadership of the chapter has continued to do things to keep it advancing from helping others to start a chapter, annual golf outing to support a scholarship program, and the strong quarterly programs.

Q4. What do you hope to see from the Siouxland chapter in the coming years?

I hope to see the Siouxland chapter continue to grow and flourish. The last 10 years have been great and I hope to see the Chapter's next 10 years to be even better.
