We are an electrical contractor looking to implement Trimble's ProjectSight for our project managers to use as their project management software. Viewpoint Spectrum is our ERP. We have started training with a Trimble representative on the ProjectSight platform, and it seems very confusing as to what items sync back and forth between Spectrum and ProjectSight. For anyone that uses ProjectSight and Spectrum, what is the advantage of having your PMs use ProjectSight over just giving them access to enter the information directly into Spectrum (i.e. - contract values, change orders, etc.)?
