Sage 300 CRE does allow the capture of production units. They are captured at the cost code level and can be used to produce a number of productivity KPI's. See additional information below. Hope you find this useful. Some of the Time Capture tools that link to Sage 300 CRE have field capture tools for the production units.
Some of the fields are:
Estimated Production Units
Approved Changes
Total Production Units
Actual Production Units
Production Unit Description
Estimated Labor Hours
Approved Labor Hour Changes
Total Estimated Labor Hours
Approved Labor Hours
Actual Hours

Subject: tracking productivity
To all my fellow subcontractors out there, what do you use to track productivity? We are on sage 300 CRE and can track est hours vs actual hours, rates, etc. But it misses the production rate piece. We are a roofing contractor so in our case it would be squares per day divided by hours possible, what we estimated at the beginning vs actual, to make sure we are on track on a given project. We can do it manually in excel (tedious) but wondered what others were doing, and if there was a more automated way?
Appreciate the input.
Thanks,
