Hi Trevor,
I implemented spectrum a few years back when i worked for a fire suppression company that was very service heavy. Implementation went really well and we were able to easily tailor it to fit our needs.
I now work for a multistate stone company (very different needs), where Spectrum was implemented by my predecessor in 2015/2016 when it was still owned by Dexter and Chaney. It was set up quite differently, and from my understanding, due to it's legacy cloud hosting, there were modules I had believed to be "standard" that we did not have access to. This created pain points in some areas (requiring work arounds). So, I upgraded it to the new hosting platform and I am currently in the process of setting up these additional modules which will eliminate those pain points.
I have experience working in NetSuite, JD Edwards, and ComputerEase (as well as implementing ComputerEase)... I can honestly say Spectrum is my favorite ERP, and it isn't close. My advice to you with any implementation is to make sure your team is on board and really listen to their needs. The more they can keep their eye on the "prize" by understanding how it will benefit them, the smoother things will go and the happier everyone will be when you go live.
I am happy to answer any questions you have on this and get into specifics.
