We're looking at restructuring and expanding our operations finance career path. We've grown significantly, and there is a need to get more people into our talent pipeline. Structurally, we have an accounting department at HQ, but have regionally located "Controllers" that handle the project accounting & cost management, but they also handle many of our policy & procedure oversight, strategic projection analysis, and overall financial advisor for our branch locations. In the past, we've had challenges attracting the right kind of people - they see a Controller title, and assume it's primarily accounting. I know many in our positions wear a lot of hats, so I'm looking for some input/feedback on what title others companies are using for this type of position, and how they are differentiated between levels. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!
