    Hello Everyone,

We are a specialty contractor that engineers, procures, constructs, & installs gas processing plants.  We are currently using QuickBooks Enterprise as our accounting software partnered with ADP for third party payroll processing and P6 for scheduling.  QuickBooks doesn't look like a long term solution, and we are interested to know what others are using and why.  We are looking into Sage 300 or Sage Intacct right now, and most of our jobs are 10-17 month lump sum contracts.  We have several different operating companies as well as a central management company for payroll and benefits that would need to have efficient means for intercompany transactions.  Currently, we are also looking at Briq to help with dashboards, forecasts, automation, & integration between platforms.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I  use Sage 100. It's very comprehensive and is able to import data from payroll and scheduling.

I have experience working with Quickbooks, Sage 300, and ComputerEase. I have recently converted some of my clients from QB and ADP to ComputerEase and their internal payroll service. Cheaper fee plus a tremendous benefit to have all of your financial activity under one umbrella, especially payroll job costing for multiple unions, locals, and certified payroll reports. I have also converted some of my Sage 300 clients to ComputerEase because the program is simply easy to use. I would be happy to introduce you to some of the sales people I have used where they can show you all of the features that include many modules, field interaction, dashboards, budgeting, customized reports, simple excel exports, etc. Feel free to call me and I can explain the benefits of Sage 300 and the key differences between the programs.
