Good morning,
We are a construction finishing subcontractor currently use Sage 300 CR ERP as our inhouse system. Our (smaller, drop ship only) sister company currently uses QuickBooks and the question of switching over our system to QuickBooks has been raised for it's ease of use. I'm not against it, however in my experience - QB is not a robust enough system for our volume and level of detail needed. We provide union fabrication, funishing, and union installation of our products. While I am very well versed in QB, I have not used QB beyond basic accounting functionality in several years and I understand there has been many upgrades to functionality. While QB is a fantastic accounting software, it is not a platform I ever see represented at any construction conferences as a construction forward software.
I am hoping to gain any insight or thoughts/expereinces anyone can offer. That real world application will far surpass any demo's QB could offer us.
Thank you!
