Starting the conversation is hard.. there is no easy way.  The biggest risk is not taking the risk.  To make it easier you can start with a text message or email if face-to-face feels too intimidating.  Let them know you care.  Combine opportunities:  sometimes it's easier to talk about how you're doing during a activity (like walking).  There can be less pressure.   Remember your why ... remember why you do what you do.  Live your purpose.
