I recently started in a new role as a financial leader at a family owned construction company. We are in the process of restructuring the company in terms of our financial and internal operations. One area I'd like to learn more about is sales commission. What are other companies in the construction industry doing in terms of structuring their sales commissions to incentivize the sales team appropriately while at the same time being kind to the bottom line? Any help/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
