    Hello,

    Are there any Power BI users that could share how they have used the application to create financial reports / dashboards and provide any insight on how they were able to quickly learn to develop these reports?  I am just getting started and would like to start on the best path forward to quickly learn ideas for dashboards others have created to help their organization.

    Michele,

    Some of the ERP software providers offer Power BI introduction training. That would be most useful: learn the tips and tricks for getting started with the data relevant to you, and how to set up an automatic refresh connection so you don't have to export it to update the dashboard.

    Enterprise DNA has been very useful for those in our organization getting familiar with PowerBI. We run on the Microsoft AX 2012 platform but will be rolling into a cloud-base application here in a few months. We've created connections to our data lakes and have been able to build pretty robust reporting capabilities, but we have deployed internal developers to realize some of these tools. I'm not too incredibly involved at the data level, but use the dashboards extensively.
