    Hi everyone,

I've recently launched a new podcast called Construction ESOP Collective, created for construction owners, CFOs, controllers, operations leaders, and employee-ownership professionals to share real-world experiences with ESOPs in the construction industry.

Each episode dives into topics like:

✅ Evaluating an ESOP as part of a construction company's succession plan
✅ What changes financially and operationally after becoming employee-owned
✅ Financing, valuation, governance, and long-term ESOP sustainability
✅ Building an ownership culture that reaches both the office and the field
✅ Using employee ownership to support growth and acquisitions
✅ The lessons construction leaders wish they had known before making the transition

We've released two full conversations so far:

🎙️ Bill Duguay: The Power of Employee Ownership in Construction

Bill is a Certified EOS Implementer and former president of a 700-person, 100% employee-owned Texas construction company. We discuss what happens after a company becomes employee-owned and what it takes to keep an ESOP healthy long after the original transaction.

🎙️ Bob Whalen: The ESOP Growth Story: From $5 Million to $300 Million

Bob is the CEO of HB Global and author of Beyond Your Ownership. He shares how employee ownership, acquisitions, diversification, and a strong company culture helped HB Global grow from a business purchased for a little over $5 million to approximately $300 million in equity value.

Beyond these conversations, the podcast gives construction leaders an opportunity to share their leadership approaches, explain what they have learned, and help other companies better understand the realities of employee ownership.

We're also looking for future guests. If you're a construction owner, CFO, controller, operations leader, or ESOP professional with firsthand experience that could help others in the industry, I'd like to hear your story. Please reach out to me directly via email or on LinkedIn.

I'd also value the Connection Café's perspective: What employee-ownership or succession topic would be most useful for us to explore in a future episode?

    Looking forward to connecting,
