Are there any NC Sales Tax experts out there?
We have a service provider scheduled on a job to drop their equipment and monitor with a 2 man crew. I would like to issue a subcontract; however, I am told the equipment (quoted as rental) and labor may be subject to sales tax. Can anyone confirm that sales tax should be charged by the service provider? If so, is a PO more appropriate?
