Looking for feedback from others who've migrated to Sage Intacct

We're currently using Sage 300 CRE and Sage Paperless Construction, but we knew we needed to move to a cloud-based solution. To stay in the Sage family, we began implementing Sage Intacct along with Sage Intacct Paperless.

We were about a month away from our Go-Live date when we had to hit pause because Intacct wasn't able to handle several of our current processes. Some of the key challenges we've run into include:

    • Job tax status not flowing through to invoice entry

    • Lack of flexibility with AP discount terms

    • Handling tax and freight on commitments outside of POs

    • Too many "work-arounds" instead of true solutions

We had hoped the release of R3 would resolve some of these issues, but unfortunately it didn't address as many as we had anticipated.

We've also been told the reporting is excellent, but we're finding that getting accurate data into the system is the biggest hurdle right now.

For those of you who have migrated to Sage Intacct (and possibly SIP as well), what has your experience been like? Did you run into similar issues? Were you able to find effective solutions, or did you end up living with a patchwork of work-arounds?

I'd love to hear how others are managing the transition and whether your day-to-day processes are more efficient now than before.
