Sub Specialty Contractor

Good Morning!

My company (a specialty contractor) is considering implementing Bird Dog HR as a supplement to our Accounting software (Spectrum).  At this time, we are mainly interested in the time sheet function for our Engineering department, Time Off Tracking and Employee Portals.  Does anyone have opinions on the software, inclusive of the integration with Spectrum?

HI, We wasted 2 years trying to get BirdDog implemented, redesigned our custom programs to fit BirdDog and in the end it didn't work.  We've abandoned it.  It was expensive and incredibly time consuming.  Spectrum doesn't really partner well with too many out of the box software we are finding.  We've had to hire custom programmers in house to develop things for us.  There are also companies that can custom design an HRIS systems for you though if you are interested.  I've been giving that a lot of thought since BirdDog didn't go as planned.  I've also noticed a lot of companies say they can integrate with ERPs and then they struggle with Spectrum...  It might be Spectrum...
