Thanks to all who participated in this year's Industry Builder Golf Tournament. The golf tournament netted just under $6000 this year and the chapter has decided to distribute the funds as follows:
SDSU Foundation - $2000 for scholarships for students in their Construction Management programs
Sioux Falls School District New Technology High School - $2000 to support their construction-related programs
Southeast Technical Institute Foundation - $1000 for scholarships for students in construction-related programs
Skills Dakota - $1000 toward the mobile training trailer program they presented at the June meeting
The Siouxland Chapter of CFMA is proud to play a small part in addressing one of the biggest challenges our companies are currently facing, the labor shortage, by supporting individuals pursuing careers in the industry and organizations promoting construction jobs and helping to build worker skills.
