Ambassador Program is underway

By Frank Di Lorenzo posted 03-18-2013 00:50

The program committee recently launched the Ambassador Program, and with 10 great members volunteering to be our first ambassadors, we are under way!  We are very excited about this program, and how it will improve our member's experience and increase the success and effectiveness of our Chapter.

Each Ambassador has approximately 12 members in their group, and will be personally reaching out to each one to make an introduction.  Some goals for this program are:
    -    Increase member participation in programs and events
    -    Solicit feedback about programs, locations, and meeting dates/times
    -    Give each member a contact readily available to answer questions or perhaps make introductions to other members
    -    Increase the value we bring to our member firms and expand our reach to others in finance as well as operations
    -    Increase member retention through increased participation

Thank you to our ambassadors for stepping up and making a difference!  We look forward to watching this progam evolve and the resulting positive impact it will have on our membership and the chapter as a whole!

Joseph, thanks for your message! Overall, the program is going well in that we've had some great reach outs to our members, we've seen some increase in the monthly meeting attendance, and we have received some valuable feedback. Recommendations have included topics to address, alternate times and locations for meetings, and ways to improve how we communicate with our members. Also, members have been receptive to being contacted, with a few expressing their appreciation for the calls. Please let me know if you'd like to discuss further and I'll be happy to schedule a call. Best regards!!

Frank, I would curious to hear how the program is going, what the Ambassadors, your board, and you have learned from your members. Are the members receptive to being contacted? Have they made recommendations for change in the chapter's activities?
