    The CFMA Piedmont Chapter participated in a project with Habitat for Humanity in Winston Salem in September for a day of service.  Members were also treated to a game of Kubb afterwards!

    ​CFMA Las Vegas Chapter is happy to announce that half of the proceeds from the Annual Putt-A-Thon will be donated to ACE Mentoring Program. An afterschool program that engages, excites, and enlightens high school students to pursue careers in architecture, construction and engineering.     Thanks to the incredible efforts of FCL Builders and numerous volunteers, their annual Casino Night fundraiser resulted in a donation of $140,500 to CIASP!  As a chapter, we are proud to support efforts to advance awareness of suicide in the construction industry, and those working to make a difference.

  • INB PERFORMING ARTS CENTER RENOVATION - JOB SITE TOUR

    Thursday, September 13, 2018 - INB Performing Arts Center Renovation - Job Site Tour Please join us as we tour the INB Performing Arts Center Renovation Project job site. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be provided at The Davenport Grand Terrace immediately afterwards. On May 1st, 2018, the INB Performing Arts Center closed its doors to begin a $22 million renovation project that will modernize many elements of the iconic facility. The exciting changes will focus on major upgrades to enhance the guest experience and improve overall use.   • 2018 Puget Sound Chapter Showcase at CFMA National Conference

    The Puget Sound Chapter of CFMA presented their 2018 CFMA Chapter Showcase at the June 2018 National Conference in Florida. The Puget Sound Chapter and AGC of Washington hosted the educational event, "Suicide Prevention Summit," with Cal Beyer as a moderator for the panel. This lifesaving summit was attended by area HR and safety professionals, as well as chapter members and non-members.
  • Puget Sound Chapter receives National’s 2018 Founders Recognition Award

    Puget Sound CFMA received the Founders Recognition Award for its score in National’s 2018 Chapter Benchmarking and Awards. Our Chapter had the 17th highest score out of 98 Chapters that submitted. We are honored and proud of our achievements and continue to strive for excellence in our Chapter’s work and events.
  • Annual Golf Scramble for Scholarship Fund - Sept. 17

    Since its inception 23 years ago, the CFMA Scholarship Fund has provided financial assistance to over fifty students. As your father used to tell you, “that money doesn’t grow on trees”.That money – over $100,000 – came from the CFMA Golf Tournament. That money came from people like you!   • Brian Mullins

    ​It is with deep regret that the CFMA of Madison announces the passing of Brian Mullins after a courageous battle with cancer.  Brian was an attorney and partner at Axley Brynelson, LLP in Madison.  Brian graduated from UW- Madison with both Engineering and Law degrees.  He co-founded the construction law group at Axley Brynelson. Brian was instrumental in establishing the CFMA Madison Chapter, helped to write the by-laws and served as both a member and the chair of the Chapter’s Scholarship Committee.
