What: Subcontractors face major cash flow and working capital challenges from long waits for
payment, uncertain payment timing and a lack of affordable financing. This brings
financial strain – and risks to projects. Textura will discuss how supply chain finance (SCF)
can address this problem by enabling general contractors to significantly accelerate
payments. SCF for years has improved working capital management in numerous
industries. Through an innovative combination of technology and financial expertise,
Textura has made SCF available in construction, bringing benefits to general contractors,
their subcontractors and their clients.

Note from your Chapter President, Raymond Nii:
At last year’s CFMA National Conference in Chicago, I was fortunate to be able to visit
with a number of vendors to see what they had to offer. As not many of us have the
opportunity to attend the CFMA National Conference, I thought it would be a good
opportunity for our chapter members to get exposed to various products at a Brown Bag
session here in Hawaii. As more and more companies in Hawaii are using (or have been
required to use) the Textura product, this Brown Bag is designed to give our members a
deeper insight on what this product (or similar product) is used for and to be able to ask
questions directly to the vendor.
