I know that you do not have to pay time and a half on the fringe portion for Davis Bacon wages, but do you have to add the fringe amount at all?
Example: Base Rate = $10.00 - Fringe Rate = $2.00 for a Total Rate of $12.00 and 44 hours worked
A) 40 X $12.00 ($10 + $2) = $480.00
4 X $17.00 = (($10 X 1.5) + $2) = $ 68.00
Total Pay = $548.00
-OR-
B) 40 X $12.00 ($10 + $2) = $480.00
4 X $15.00 = ($10 X 1.5) = $ 60.00
Total Pay = $540.00
I have actually found examples for both ways on the DOL website.
