I found the "Member Two Cents" article this month very interesting regarding working from home. It seems like region, work type, and company size have a massive impact on how people are implementing and feeling about working from home. Our team didn't have much interest until recently and we have just created a hybrid policy that I think will work great for us. Our policy is that you have to be in the office on Monday and Friday and the days working from home should not be consecutive. Some roles are able to work from home more often than others and it was agreed upon that we will revisit how the new schedule is working in six months.
Much like Shawn stated in the article, I will plan on using my time at home as "deep work" time. I find that at home I am able to get immersed easier and get a good flow going.

| There are a number of surveys that have cited productivity improvements with employees whose positions allowed for remote work. Employees in administrative and operational positions, in many cases, were able to maintain or even improve productivity, while finding reduced stress levels and improved work-life balance, despite often working more hours at home. |
