As a specialty trade contractor I thought this month's article on how companies are communicating with employees very helpful. It's always nice to hear what other people are doing and what they have seen work for them given their size and location. There aren't many industries where you have such a juxtaposition between field and office. It's vital to the success of a company to figure out what works for those who are going to the same office day in and day out and those who are traveling across the tri-state area from project to project. I'd love to hear what other companies are doing to keep the lines of communication flowing and/or what they tried and found to not work.
