Hi VOS Members! Hope you enjoyed the March lucheon topic on communications as much as I did. Rick DeBruhl did a great job and based upon the questions at the end, I thought I'd share a few books you may want to peruse. Since Rick couldn't recall the author's name on Multigenrational Communications, the author is Jennifer Abrams who has written a few books including: The Multigenerational Workplace (based upon her workshop), and Having Hard Conversations, Also there are a few books on Active Listening that may interest you: Just Listen by Mark Goulson, Active Listening Techniques by Nixaly Leonardo and Crucial Conversations by Patterson, Grenny, McMillan & Switzler (a best seller).
For those who missed the March luncheon, I'll quote Rick with "You're only as good as your last communication." and "Sometimes you need to slow down."
