I'm wondering if any heavy highway contractors here are using Viewpoint/Vista accounting software and outsourcing payroll to Payroll4Construction.
I'd like to know from the user's perspective what the experience was like getting it set up. Did you export the info for employees and jobs and send it to them? Was there a testing period and how did that work?
When payroll has been done, how you get the payroll information from the payroll service and into Viewpoint for accounting purposes and reports. I assume there is a file that you can import? Were there any issues with that?
Also, did you have any trouble getting the files for certified payrolls in the right format to upload to DOTs?
I know these are questions that a salesperson can answer but everything is easy-peasy when you talk to them. I'm looking for some real world user experiences please.
