Curious how the experience has been for contractors that migrated to Acumatica, from implementation to going live, inhouse payroll, report creation etc.  We are in the process of selecting an ERP and any experience good or bad would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Hi Craig, we are in the early stages of a migration to Acumatica.  Our VAR is Nextec.  With products like Acumatica, the VAR can either make or break your entire experience.  So far, our experience has been positive, but we've only completed the discovery phase of the implementation.  Acumatica itself promises to be a great solution for us in many ways, and I see new features daily that I am eager to implement.

    Vivian,

We are in the same boat.  Our experience with WM Synergy has been great.  What they've been able to do, mid demo, has been incredible to witness.

    Craig -

We are a specialty subcontractor and have been live on Acumatica since 2021. Our implementation was hard work, but went very smoothly.

We recently onboarded our distribution company to Acumatica with a go-live of 7/1/2025 - they are running fairly smoothly at the 90 day mark.

I agree that finding the right VAR is critical. The other piece of advice I would give is that you need to own your implementation. Our team was very active and SME's were included as owners in each step.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Craig,

Great question - and one we hear often from contractors evaluating their ERP options.

I'm with Revive ERP, an Acumatica VAR that focuses heavily on construction implementations, including quite a few electrical contractors. We've helped teams through the full journey from implementation to go-live, in-house payroll, reporting, and ongoing optimization, so I'm always happy to share what we see working well (and where bumps can occur).

If you're already engaged with an Acumatica partner, that's a good sign. The Acumatica ecosystem has several strong, construction-focused providers, and a solid partner truly does make all the difference.

If it would be helpful, I'm glad to connect you with electrical contractors currently running Acumatica who are open to giving completely candid, real-world feedback about their experience - good, bad, and everything in between.

Feel free to reach out or grab a time with our team here if you'd like to talk through anything in more detail.

    Thanks,
    Anna
