We currently use Spectrum by Viewpoint and seems that using this program is becoming very discouraging, not only due to their support but their lack of programming & delays in resolving issues. We have been using this program for over 20 years, while it was a Dexter & Chaney product and now Viewpoint. Not that we didn't experience any issues previous to Viewpoint (we're not expecting perfection), but now it has been one issue after another. Including today, for example, when we found out they have yet to update their program in order for their clients to be able to calculate the Covid19 tax credit and deduct from the PR tax liability. When inquiring about the error we were receiving in Spectrum, not only did their Chat customer support disconnected me twice, but then I called them only to hear their rep. say that their development team is just now working on extending the date from 12/31/2020 to 3/31/2021. It has been almost 2 weeks since the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 was singed into law, 12/27/2020!  A company as big as Viewpoint should be expecting and planning ahead to accommodate the rapid changes happening lately and more importantly insure their clients do not have to deal with additional stress - we have to act fast and so should they during these Covid times. 
 
This in only one example of the many we have had and decided to start looking and see what other software is out there or what you're using and what you would recommend as a construction company. We would love to hear your recommendations. Thank you!

Leticia (and all other Spectrum users),

The resolution for the Recalculate Employer Paid Taxes - COVID is ready to go now.  The delay is my fault.  I wanted to bundle this fix with another issue we found in Canada as we try to keep the number of hotfixes to a minimum.   

The patch is now on the Portal tonight and is titled FFCRA Utility Extension Hotfix.  Spectrum clients can download it directly by going to this link (Note you must login to the Customer Portal)
