    Job Summary
    Compile and enter information needed to process paychecks. Provide administrative assistance as requested or assigned.
    Essential Job Functions
    • Prepare initial stage of payroll process using Foundation and AboutTime software and in accordance with Company policies. Collecting and verify timekeeping information; track time off; process garnishments, 401(k) loan payments, and child support orders; process and issue W2 forms.
    • Prepare initial stage of timecard approval for temporary employees and confirm accuracy of agency invoices.
    • Enter employee changes into the payroll system, including new hires, rehires, and terminations.
    • Assist with labor compliance, such as FBS, Proof of Contributions, etc., as requested.
    • Generate periodic payroll reports for management review.
    • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries, under the direction of your manager and/or HR. Perform wage verifications as requested.
    • Enter and/or update PWD tables under supervision of your manager.
    • Perform a variety of administrative tasks, as requested or assigned.
    • Other duties as requested or assigned.
    Required Skills
    2+ Years of experience processing payroll, including working with a variety of payroll details, garnishments, etc.
    Proficient using MS Office programs and payroll systems.
    Able to be accurate, attentive to details, and to work with limited supervision and independently or within a team environment.
    Able to work in a pressured environment while maintaining a high and consistent service level and operating under deadline. Able to produce a large volume of high-quality work under frequent time constraints.
    Able to communicate and present information (in English) effectively verbally and in writing with departmental personnel and to follow both written and verbal instructions.
    Knowledge of basic math, including decimals, fractions, and percentages.
    Able to maintain confidentiality of information.
    Able to communicate in writing using correct English, grammar, spelling, and able to proofread materials
    Demonstrated ability to be adaptable to changes, cooperative with coworkers and others, and dependable.
    Physically able to perform all job duties, which necessitate:
    • Continual and/or frequent visual concentration without any visual or auditory impairment not correctable to normal levels or that would impair safety of individual or others. Able to use close and distance vision, color, and adjust focus as needed to read.
    • Comfortable with performing tasks requiring continual visual concentration and sitting in the same place.
    Desired Skills
    • High school graduate or GED
    • Experience with Foundation and AboutTime software.
    Working Conditions
    Full-time, non-exempt position in the construction industry in an environment characterized by low to moderate noise level, frequent interruptions, regular deadline pressures, and frequent interaction with personnel in all areas of the Company. May occasionally include overtime.

    $26-30 DOE
