We have a potential client ask us if we are willing to get Subguard insurance. This was the first time I have ever heard of this insurance and our broker was not even aware of what this was. Has anyone had experience with this type of insurance? I was just going to get a quote for a surety bond instead but I am not sure of what is the better option. When looking into Subguard insurance, i saw they have large deductibles, where there are none for a Surety bond. Any assistance would be appreciated.
This is a project will will expand over a 2 year (ish) period and cost about $5mil. Thanks!
