We are looking for a self- motivated, highly organized, hands on individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be a part of our senior management team to drive operational excellence and accountability. He/she is responsible for all financial and accounting matters. He/she must have excellent problem solving abilities coupled with strong customer service skillset.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Prepare timely accurate financial statements
- Prepare forecasts, cash flow and budgets
- Prepare monthly general ledger close, including account reconciliations
- Develop and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to efficiently accomplish the department’s goals and objectives
- Review contracts financial and insurance requirements and make recommendations
- Maintain and improve efficient and effective internal control environment
- Lead company business insurance renewal and claims
- Assist team with understanding and making decisions based on financial information and analysis
- Oversight of key financial metrics
- Ensure the implementation of and compliance with company-wide policies and procedures
- Assist in management of company surety and banking relationships
