GBA Builders is a construction management company in Lenexa, Kansas with an immediate opening for a construction accountant. Builders is a majority owned subsidiary of George Butler Associates.
This position is directly responsible for the accounting/reporting for the Builders subsidiary which involves several aspects of the accounting process including contract accounting and tracking, communication with field project managers and staff, contract billing and general ledger system administration.
The ideal candidate would have an accounting degree as well as 2-3 years of construction accounting experience. This candidate also should be a team player willing to perform any task/responsibility required and should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate to varying audiences. The position will report to the Principal/Senior Vice President responsible for Builders and to the Controller and will have contact with all levels of management.
