Hi,
We are a small U.S. construction firm negotiating with a Mexican owner to perform a T&M project to repair their facility in Mexico. What clauses or language should we be adding to our standard T&M contract to account for the additional costs & risks of working across the border. How do we make sure we capture the costs for all the taxes, insurance, customs, misc fees? We will take our own U.S. labor and equipment to do the work. Is there a standard T&M cross-border contract?
