How have you handled an apprentice tuition deduction on prevailing wage projects? We previously took a weekly deduction while in school and then reimbursed in full at the successful completion of the year. We stopped doing this upon learning that wasn't the way to handle it on prevailing wage project. The fringe deduction only for the tuition is not enough personal risk to entice some to do well and / or even complete the year.
Any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated.
