    Good Afternoon all,

    Since COVID our business has chosen to expand to many other states.  I have a situation that's new to me and am not sure how to handle the payroll taxes.  We have a business in MD, but we are starting a job in IL, with an employee who lives and works in IL.  She will most likely never travel to MD.  How do I handle her taxes?  I am getting mixed answers.

    Hi Deidra,

    Off the cuff I don't know IL's income tax status, but...

    If IL has state income tax, you'll want to set up a withholding account.

    I'm not sure about SUI.
