I was recently contacted by the program coordinator for the Annapolis chapter of the Project Management Institute looking for a speaker for their May meeting. They would like to have someone from the construction industry speak. It is a casual dinner meeting, and the most effective speakers use a case study to show how project management best practices were (or were not) used to complete the project. You can focus on any aspect of the project, not just the physical completion. The most recent topic was a review of all the project failures that led up to the sinking of the Titanic.
