Ken Neyer Plumbing'is a leading full-service plumbing contractor in the greater Cincinnati region.
Overview : Responsible for internal and accounting processes, controls and reporting, and responsible for the supervision of administrative staff.
Additionally, responsible for all HR functions and the oversight of payroll processing.
Specific Duties :
- Manage accounting functions including AP, AR, HR/Payroll and Customer Service Experience. Manage administrative staff assigned to these functions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and other reports as needed for CPA firm and President
- Work with President & PMs to maintain accurate Work In Progress report and accurate monthly invoicing
- Monitor and manage daily cash balances and projected cash flow
- Assist and review employee benefit programs and human resource policies.
- Assist and review liability insurance and Workers Compensation.
- Assist in management of job specific tasks such as qualification forms, bidding, job start up, job billing and cost tracking, closeout.
- Monitor and manage collection of aged receivables.
- Maintain and manage ComputerEase or other software platforms.
- Assist in establishing budgets, costs analysis and billing rates.
- Provide feedback to President on suggested improvements to internal processes, methods and procedures.
- Work with IT provider to maintain computer network
- Oversee and maintain relationships with office service providers, including but not limited to IT support, internet and phones, document solutions, uniforms, mobile communication.
- Facilitate teamwork and positive working environment
- Responsible for payroll, tax reporting and all HR functions, some of which are currently outsourced.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Accounting degree desired
- Experience with construction accounting required
- Experience with Computerease software desired
- Organization skills are essential
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computer navigation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Able to maintain complete confidentiality.
