In performing work as a General Contractor in North Carolina, I understand we, or the Owner need to hire a registered lien agent.
What is the NC Lien Process?
Is there a notice of commencement?
Is there a notice of furnishing?
We are going to ask the subcontractors to provide interim and final lien waivers - we have fairly standard forms our attorney is comfortable with. Is there anything special or out of the ordinary required for North Carolina interim and final lien waivers?
