    Does anyone have a recommendation on a sales & use tax consultant, or vendor? We have some questions about various jobs, taxable and non, and any advice or help would be useful.     Hi Aaron,
    The Central Texas chapter of CFMA will be hosting a Texas Tax Update at its monthly meeting on August 16, 2016.  The speaker will be Christi Mondrik, of Mondrik and Associates in Austin, TX, who is VERY knowledgeable about state taxation, include sales tax and franchise tax.  Usually, if there is time, there is a little Q&A after the presentation.  Please come join us.
