Hi. I am new to the construction industry and received my first price quote to place a temp to hire hourly position with us. The position is for a shop supervisor, not a skilled position. The markup rate and conversion period shocked me. Coming from manufacturing, I was used to a 40-50% premium and a 90 day conversion to hire. The (national) agency is claiming the 90% markup and 6 month CTH is standard in the construction industry. Are those rates reasonable? TIA.
