Description: Have networking and relationship development responsibilities with design professionals and Mortenson's targeted customers.
Actively researches project opportunities as part of filtering process through networking, personal relationships, cold calls, reading publications, attending community events, and participating in industry organizations. Champions lead identification and generation. Performs market trends analysis, and manages the coordination of introductory meetings with prospective customers.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related area
• 5-7 years of construction business development experience
• Strategic, energectic, self-directed, exceptionally organized, responsive, tenacious, problem solver, collaborative, independent, team player
• Proficiency in tracking/managing wide range of leads with a focus on follow through and closure
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and emailPreferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in construction operations as a Project Manager or Project Executive highly desired
