    Hoping I can get your help.  I'd like to know your opinion on how competitive a $650 per month car allowance for the Chicagoland area? In this case, the employees are traveling around to various jobsites all over the Chicagoland area.

    That amount falls within the local industry norms of $500 - $800 a month for project managers, estimators, and superintendents.

    That amount is in line with what we have found to be reasonable.  We have found that getting a market assessment from a third-party each year ensures that we are competitive in every city we work in. Runzheimer provides excellent analysis.
