It's true! Time does fly when you are having fun. Here it is, the last official month of my tenure as the chapter president. I want to take a quick minute to thank you all for allowing me to serve you. I've been able to meet and get to know more members over this past year, and I look forward to continuing those relationships.
I'd like to say I learned a lot over this past year (and I probably have), but the prominent component of this chapter's success is all of you. I feel like I already knew that, but it was awesome having a front seat to the show. Thank you all for getting involved and making this a great organization.
One of my main focuses for this year was to somehow utilize technology to improve our ability to communicate and manage the chapter. Luckily, CFMA national was on the same wave link and we were able to convert the chapter website to a new format. Some additional functionality was also added including event registrations and online payment. I am proud to have been a part of that process and look forward to continued growth in that area.
