    Hi Everyone,

    I am am fairly new to the CMFA but am hoping there are a few of you who may be able to point me in the direction of a consultant for Vista software. I acquired my position after initial implementation and am just hoping to locate a knowledgeable firm (in or near SC) that I can call upon for training, specialized report creation, etc. Thank you for your time. I look forward to you recommendations.

    Nicole,

     

    We implemented Vista three years ago and I'll be happy to go through lessons learned (there were and continue to be lots).  As far as your specific question about a consultant – there are several that can provide good quality assistance with report writing and basic accounting training.  We've used Blackstock Consulting and Project Resources – Towner and Jennifer are both very knowledgeable and helpful. 

     

    As far as overall training;  that area is a more complicated – primarily because Viewpoint is constantly changing their product offering.  In the three years we've been live, Viewpoint has sunset all of the following ancillary products we purchased – Ifiller, Resource Manager, eForms, VCM, VCM search, Field Time and Field View.  In addition they are still developing, rolling out and modifying TEAM.  For the most part Viewpoint points you to their Clearview site for all training and support issues.

    Thanks so much for reaching out! I just may take you up on that! Unfortunately I am at my FYE and am prepping for close out so I have to put some of my goals to the side for a little bit to focus.
