THE DANGERS OF CONTRACTING WITH THE GOVERNMENT -- IT’S NOT BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR CONTRACTORS

With great effort you deliver a project on-time, on-budget, and defect free.  Is the Government happy?  No – not unless you also met your compliance obligations. The Government is increasingly going after contractors for fraud, claiming non-compliance with contract certs, reps and Minority & Woman Owned Business Enterprise requirements.  The civil and criminal penalties are often breath taking.  Jen Harvey and Dave Anderson, from Couch White, LLP, will discuss contractor fraud, the enormity of the penalties, the ever increasing treatment of simple non-compliance as fraud, and advise on how to successfully perform Government work.

Speakers:  David G. Anderson, Esq. and Jennifer Kavney Harvey, Esq. Of Couch White, LLP.
