Fraud can happen to any company, anywhere. This is especially true in the construction industry where often times companies struggle with segregation of duties due to the limited size of accounting and management groups. In this seminar we will discuss a real life case study from a Massachusetts company that was victimized by a significant fraud, as well as reviewing a few other real world examples. Once we’ve identified specific types of fraud that can occur, we will review straightforward, low (or no) cost controls that you can put in place immediately to protect yourself.
