Acumatica & Spectrum Viewpoint - Request for User Referrals

    Hi CFMA:

Do you use Acumatica or Spectrum Viewpoint and can serve as a referral for either of them? Can you please contact me if your company actively uses these programs?

    My company and I
have been through hours of conversations and demos with CMiC, SAGE300, Jonas Enterprise, ProCore, Oracle Netsuite, Acumatica & Spectrum Viewpoint. With an anticipated go-live date of 1/1/2021, we have narrowed down our future software to two programs: Acumatica & Spectrum Viewpoint. In my opinion, Acumatica is the best out of all of them. I'm a little concerned that they are a newer company, but their future appears very bright.

We would like to see the programs in action by finding our own referrals of the programs, instead of just relying on the software companies to provide referrals.

    Thank you!

    John,

Sounds like you have really done your homework.  If you are looking for a completely web based ERP, you should take a look at  Sage Intacct Construction.  if have not already made a decision.

    Hi William,

Yes, I looked at SAGE Intacct as well, which appears to be SAGE 300's cloud-based version to compete with Acumatica and other cloud-based software. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe it will be ready until end of Q1 2021, which is after our go-live date of 1/1/2021.

    I appreciate the input.

    Thanks.

Hi John. I'm currently an Acumatica user and we went live on 09/01/2019. We are a general contractor in Las Vegas, Nevada and use the construction edition of their product. We also use Procore for project management and utilize the information bridge between the two in order to successfully manage our projects. I'm learning more about the product every day and attending the user conference in January was eye-opening to the possibilities. They are very heavily focused on product improvement and the construction edition is getting a lot of attention. I'm looking forward to the next release in April. I can tell you this, with the whole virus situation we are all facing, having a cloud-based solution has set my business ahead of my competitors in the ability to work remotely. Right now, that's a game-changer.

Feel free to send me a note at bob@carmalv.com or call me at 702-666-3471 if you would like to discuss specifics.

    Hi John,
I have no experience with either, but please take a moment to look at the many prior discussions on "ERP system options", including one of the more recent posts from about a week ago.
