HR & Payroll Software

We are a subcontractor with a fairly large work force. We are seriously considering moving to an "off the shelf" Human Resources integrated system along with an integrated payroll software. For HR we're looking for fewer human inputs with better access to reporting for employees and supervisors. For payroll we're particularly interested in abandoning timecards and allowing crews to clock in and out using their smart phones. Two programs we are looking in to are ADP and Paylocity. I'm curious if any of you have used these systems. What is your opinion of them? Are there others that you'd recommend?

I would recommend looking at Work Force Go.  They have a very user friendly app and they integrate with ADP if you use them or other payroll services.  The implementation team is great to work with.

    Karl,

My strong recommendation is to talk with TAG Employer Services (www.tagpay.com).  They are construction specialist and have every tool imaginable and best of all, it works!  They run circles around ADP from a service perspective and all of their software is designed and managed in-house so it can be tailor fitted to your team.  Their client services team is very responsive and easy to work with.

    Good luck!
