Hi all. We are a plumbing and fire sprinkler contractor looking specifically for estimation software for our plumbing division. Everything from industrial and commercial, to residential. We run ComputerEase and have looked at ProEst for its integration. I'm setting up demos with QuoteSoft and FastPipe as well. Any others I should look at or experience with any of them that are mentioned?

    Thank in advance.

If you only need quantity takeoff, Bluebeam Revu can be an option as well.  It can update an Excel Template (live link) with the material quantities. Your template can then be tweaked for the import into Computerease. Also can help in material staging if Rooms are defined (Bluebeam calls them spaces as it allows for nested spaces such as rooms in a building wing) within the plan (can be imported from Revit automatically), by providing a legend with quantities by room.
Many other uses of Bluebeam Revu:
    • Cloud based collaboration and document storage component called Studio
    • Markups for redlining
    • Document compare function for identifying revision changes on plan sheets
    • frequently replaces Adobe for your PDF needs.
It is likely that it will cost less than the options you are already considering.

    Hi Sarah,

We've been using QuoteSoft for close to 10 years now and we're very happy with the product, training and service.
