    Hi Everyone,

    For the past year, I've been part of a online study group of several dozen people preparing for the CCIFP exam.

    We've been through all the material at this point, and we're gearing up to take our exams (yahoo!). For our final study session, we'd like to invite some guests who have obtained the CCIFP to give us a final shot in the arm to get this done. So here's my request:

    Have you earned your CCIFP?

    Are you willing to share, in a few words, how that has helped you, or what it's meant for you to reach this achievement?

    Do you have general tips for anyone about to take the exam?

    If so, you're invited to join our final study session call next Thursday, Feb 20 at 5 pm Eastern / 2 pm Pacific time.

    Hi Daniel,

    This is such a wonderful idea and I encourage current CCIFPs to share with the study group. Big things are coming for the CCIFP exam this year and study groups are one of the best ways to prepare! I encourage both current CCIFPs  and those on the fence about getting certified to tune in. I would love to sit in for a bit myself.

    Great news!  We're glad to hear your study group is now ready to take the exam.  Your invitation to CCIFPs is a good one for your group and gives the CCIFP a chance to, well, let's say - pay it forward a bit.  When CFMA's Education Dept. revamped the CCIFP Study Guide 2 years ago, we also went to the CCIFPs for input into how to make the guide a valuable tool to the candidate. They had lots to offer, including a tip: "Join a Study Group"! The guide even includes best practices for study groups.  Maybe we'll include your invitation to CCIFPs as another good practice. We are going to be updating the study guide soon, adding more flashcards, etc.  If you have any suggestions regarding preparation for the CCIFP Exam, please let us know.
    I also hope your post inspires others to work toward their credentials.  Many members included "Get my CCIFP" in their 2020 Goals.  We are here to help - the CCIFP Overview Seminar is in the CFMA Education On Demand library, a live online session will be held in August, along with a very informative and inspiring webinar that covers what you are inviting CCIFPs to do, give insight, tips, explain benefits, etc.  The Education Department is here to help with your professional development, and wishes you success in all your endeavors.
