    Can anyone recommend an HR software. We are a Foundations user and would like to have some integration. We are a self perform, open shop steel erector so, remote on boarding, benefit administration, employee training and certificate tracking are all pretty important functions.

    ​We use Sage 300 CRE and Abra HRMS and Birddog. We are looking at replacing Abra and Birddog. Any feedback on Bamboo HR, SAP, Kronos, DocuWare or Dock365? Any other major ones we should look at? We process our own payroll weekly through Sage using HH2 for timecards.  No Sales Calls Pleas, we are using a consultant.

    Bamboo HR uses Employee Navigator for Benefits Maintenance.  Not that impressed.

    The main reasons we would like to replace BirdDogHR ATS are below. If  you have any feedback would appreciate the information.
    • Inefficiencies with the system especially when filtering resumes
      • It takes 5-6 clicks to review each candidate vs. their competitors at around 1-2 clicks
    • Interface is not intuitive and user friendly
    • Does not offer full cycle recruiting (from job posting to application to interview to offer letter) 
    • Low candidate pool / job board ranking
    • Data from outside job boards is not collected automatically
    • Reports are  not as customizable as we need, for instance, pulling a whole transcript does not pull courses and certifications so you have to pull multiple reports to get all of the information that you want
    • Having usernames that are within even a couple of numbers / characters of another user's can cause issues with people getting logged in. This is causing us issues in connecting the LMS to other systems that we have because our unique username (EEID) is not sufficient.

    We have been looking at Paycom. But in order to utilize their HRIS platform, we would have to have them process our payroll. Currently we process our own payroll weekly in Vista. I'm having a difficult time understanding the benefits of having a 3rd party process our payroll. Especially w/ prevailing wage reporting and job costing. Any thoughts (pros or cons) having a payroll processed by a 3rd party when you have 230+ employees who job cost their time would be appreciated.

    I'm curious if you ever found a solution for the question you asked above.  I'm currently doing my own search for potentially replacing onboarding software with a more robust HR/Payroll software and I'm curious what people have experienced.   We also do our own payroll and I hate it because of the potential for errors and such.
