Can anyone recommend a good app for my field to convert a photo into a pdf?  We're looking to get receiving slips from our field digitally.

Camscanner- they have a free version, but you do tend to get some ads. I have used it for work an for personal though and have never had any issues.

I personally have used Camscanner as well, and my prior employer used it as well.  It worked quite well for our purposes.

The smartphone App, Scanbot, works very well. You can scan with your phone and then email as a pdf.

I believe you can even configure it to automatically deliver the scans to an email address.

I would recommend Microsoft Office Lens.  It is part of the MS Office Suite and if you have Office 365, you likely already own it.  Plus it saves directly to OneDrive in the cloud which can sync back to your desktop.  And it's Microsoft.....

The Adobe Scan app allows you to take pictures and save them as PDF files and then share them.

I second Microsoft Office Lens. Really great document detection/correction, save PDF to OneDrive or other file share services. Free and no ads.

The Adobe scan app is also great for converting to a fillable form and capturing business card info.
