    I am looking for input on and thoughts on HCSS Heavy Job.

    I have heard some good things from our operations people and I am trying to confirm other views.

    We currently use another software for job cost etc.

    We have used HCSS for 15-20 years and have been very pleased with them, we use all the apps in their suite.  HeavyJob is very user friendly for field guys to report time and production through an app on a tablet.  Feel free to email me if you would like more information or a contact.

    Hi Doug and CFMA Community:

    I have used Heavy Job in the past and have a good opinion of the software. The company I worked for used Heavy Bid estimating software and we were able to import the project estimates directly into our ERP to track variances between bid and actual using Heavy Job in the field.

    Before implementation of Heavy Job, we had an idea we may not be recording our quantities accurately since we were using a paper process which was prone to human errors. After implementation of Heavy Job, we noticed an increase in revenue we attributed to better quantity tracking, I think the big efficiency, for the company I worked for, was the ability to get real-time job costing data on a daily rather than monthly basis.
